Our family pets

Boris is really a pig. He eats around 50 shrimps each day.

When we feed him, he eats the first ones in a few seconds.

At the speed he’s growing, I wonder what will be required to satisfy his hunger in a few months.

I’m presently going through my pictures and here is one with Nuage feeding her babies:

They’re so cute.

Again Nuage was a little annoying last night but it didn’t last long. She must have realized she was wasting her energy.

Now she’s sleeping under my desk so I wake her up once in a while so that she sleeps during the night instead.

As you can guess from the title, Nuage was noisy again last night, yet she still doesn’t seem in heat.

This time I ignored her as much as possible and she got tired after around half an hour. I’ll try the same thing again, hoping that she’ll stop that bad habit.

This morning, I’m perplex. Last night Nuage still made a lot of noise and I really don’t understand why.

Her mewing, as well as her behaviour, seemed to show she’s starting to be in heat. I wonder what’s going on.

Since she was quiet when we got up, I don’t think it’s anything bad. But if she’s really getting in heat, then the next week is going to be unbearable.

I just hope it’s nothing and that it will come back to normal soon.

Last night, Nuage kept me awake for a good hour. Since she’s not neutered, we always fear she might be in heat, although she shouldn’t be due yet.

She was mewing and boxing on the bedroom door relentlessly. She never gets tired when seeking attention.

I had to get up a couple of times to stop her, afraid she might wake the neighbours. As soon as I opened the door she would go hide under the sofa.

I don’t really know why she’s doing that, but I hope she’ll be quiet tonight.
